Finding PHP Programmer in Singapore
It has not been easy to find a PHP programmer in Singapore. We have posted a few job ads, but applicants are only familiar with ASP or ASP.net.
But actually I am an ASP programmer also. And there is not much difference between ASP and PHP. I wonder why ASP is so much more popular than PHP in Singapore.
Moreover, PHP is open source. And there is a lot of support forum for PHP resources.
Although there is not much difference between ASP and PHP, I prefer using MySQL instead of MS Access.
Sometimes, clients asked me if they can store all that they want in the database when their sites become popular. Well, its not the programming that determines your storage. This is the hosting space available for you. For normal applications, hosting is normally more than enough.
