Unknown Authenticated Users in Awstats

In the Cpanel >> Awstats, you may notice that besides you, Awstats sometimes shows some unknown authenticated users.

Do not worry though, because the web server also records failed attempts by people who tried to access the restricted directories using brute force method.

But It may be a problem when there are unknown users who have tried accessing many times. In this case, you may block the person’s Ip address to prevent him/her from making any attempts at all.
