Misconception about Search engine optimization
More than 80% of online traffic is generated by the big 3 search engines - Google, Yahoo, MSN. Yet, I am surprised that very few Singapore companies realize about this. Some do know, but search engine optimization is still largely unknown, or misunderstood.
Often when I talked to clients about search engine optimization, they told me they are ranked No. 1 in Google! Well, you may be impressed. But when I probe further, this is because they are ranked No 1. for their company name as keyword.
(Eg. We know BMW sell cars. It is not surprising to find BMW website ranked No.1 if you type BMW in Google search box). However, hardly any visitors will type your company name if they intend to buy cars. Common names they may type inlude "cars", "vehicles". It is thus important to rank top for keywords such as "singapore cars".
Some online businesses are selling great products or services that people want and are actively searching for on the Internet. The problem is that, people cannot find these great sites.
The "you build it and they will come" day is over
If you just build your website, it will just sit there. It can be easily forgotten over time, and die off in the increasingly vast, competitive Internet environment. However, it will pay you back the big way once you have a decent, steady stream of "targeted" visitors referred by search engines,. With successful web site optimization and promotion, your site’s market position can easily hold strong for a couple of years, while your banner ads, TV, press, and radio ads, last for only as long as you pay.
In competitive market like online gambling and sex, websites will have to struggle their way up to top ranking. Of course, our service pricing for competitive markets will be higher too.

According to Google, these programs may consume reasonable amount of resources and thus not encouraged. We follow what "Google says". We will hand submit your site to search engines and directories. Paid submission to Inktomi, Altavista, Askjeeves, Lycos.
- Links Building Campaign: An essential way to market websites online is to have lots of inbound links from relevant sites, especially the authority sites. We build theme based linking structure and acquire at least 50 incoming links from relevant sites with high Google ranking.
